Florent Boudot-Antoine is currently preparing his doctoral dissertation under Dominique Roux-Bauhain (REGARDS) and Christophe Benavent’s (CEROS) supervision, funded by the French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME) and the Grand-Est Regional Council. His work aims to develop a deeper comprehension of access-based consumption experiences by investigating renting/lending practices of material goods mediated by peer-to-peer platforms. Considering this consumption practices through the lens of consumer-object-consumer relationships, he seeks to provide a deeper understanding of the blurred boundaries between ownership and possession, temporary dispossession and temporary possession, and the dynamic of meanings attached to the object navigating through different assemblages.
Prior to joining Reims Champagne-Ardenne University, Florent Boudot-Antoine completed a BSc (distinction) in Economics at Lyon II University and MSc (hons) in International Corporate Management (Marketing specialization), at Lille Catholic University. There he developed a strong interest in behavioral economics and cognitive psychology, which resulted in a final dissertation about decision theory. Then, after having completed his Msc, he also had an entrepreneurial experience in the field of collaborative economy.
His research interests lie in consumer behavior, consumer experience, consumer-object relation, access-based consumption.
